How to stay informed

Round 10 of FairPlay is now open!

FairPlay is an initiative of the Queensland Government’s Activate! Queensland 2019-2029 strategy to support regular participation in physical activity by reducing the costs for children and young people who need it most.

Please note that there is a limit of one voucher per child/young person per calendar year, applications are open twice a year. If a child receives a voucher in the summer (January-April) round of the program, they will not be eligible to apply for the winter (July-September) round of the same year.

What’s new?
Clubs are now being referred to as ‘Activity Providers’ as the eligibility has opened up to not-for-profit community organizations that provide structured physical activity as part of their programs. This means that the club locator will now be referred to as the Activity Provider directory and the form you complete to change your organization’s details is the Activity Provider update form.

There is a range of promotional materials available for activity providers to promote their involvement in the program:

You can follow us on Queensland Sport and Recreation’s Facebook page to keep up to date, there’s also more information, including important dates available at www.qld.gov.au/fairplayvouchers.
